A major trend seen on the runways for Spring 2012 was pastels.
The last few seasons have been about color in stronger hue
palettes. So no surprise that for spring, it’s all about soft
feminine colors and flirty silhouettes. Soft pink, greens, yellows,
and blues have paraded down many runways; Phillip Lim,
Calvin Klein, DVF (Diane von Furstenberg), Lanvin, and
many others.

The soft shades look great against all skin tones; pastels are
surfacing gowns, dresses, trousers, blouses shoes and
accessories! It’s everywhere, adding a youthful girly style
element to fashionable women everywhere. Pale hues work
well with floral prints. Opt for a floral maxi dress and pale shoe
or clutch. If you want your focus to be on your pastel color of
choice, take cue from Ashley Olsen and try a shirtdress. Pair it
with dainty gold or silver jewelry, to keep the look sweet.

Find your pretty amongst the various shades of pastels offered
this season. For work, a blush colored blazer would be a great
twist with your white trousers. Out for drinks with the girls? Slip
