styles available, the options can be overwhelming. Just as we are often told to keep our face shape in mind when
choosing hairstyles, certain types of frames bring out the best qualities in certain face shapes. First, determine your
You have a square-shaped face if your face is almost as wide as it is long. Square-shaped faces have a strong jaw
and often a straight hairline. Shoppers with square-shaped faces should opt for sunglasses with curved
edges to add softness to their face. Oval frames and butterfly-shaped frames also look great with square-shaped faces.
Oval-shaped faces are one and a half times as long as they are wide. You have an oval-shaped face if your
forehead and jaw are the same width. Nearly all styles frames look great on oval-shaped faces! Angular frames
look especially stunning.
A round-shaped face is almost as wide as it is long, with a round jaw-line. The cheekbones are the widest part of
round faces. They should be drawn to frames that make their faces look longer. Angular shades, especially
horizontal styles, add a charming length to round faces. Square or geometric shapes that draw attention to the top
of face and sharpen also do the trick.
Heart-shaped faces are slightly longer than they are wide. A heart-shaped face is wide at the forehead and
cheekbones, but narrow at the jaw line. They look great with frames that have rounded edges. Shades that add
width to the lower part of the face are ideal. Bigger styles, especially those that are bottom-heavy, are an excellent
option for heart-shaped face.
